Career: A Happiness Project!

Career     If not anything, most of the youngsters in India are blessed with more than one turning point in his/her life that many of them end up in a loop after turning too much , one after another.     Right after finishing the Tenth Board exams, we again take another turn during the Plus Two board exams. Some get a brief rest after that but prayers for those students who pursue Engineering or Medicine, it's the Wayanad pass for them ahead; from the entrance exams forward, every semester is a turning point.     After an average of 15-18 years of toil in education, a graduate finally thinks the struggle is over for them. And a distant voice shouts 'Hold them horses, the fun ain't started yet, kid'. Their first interview, the first job, the second one, and the promotion, etc are all turning points.     The person stands confused because the hero in the movies had so much time to woo the heroine, party with friends, and dance in the streets at leas...

My Thoughts on Love

Love     The epic rush of butterflies inside the stomach or the pounding heartbeats within the freedom of the ribcage. Poets have penned down that innate feeling we experience regarding everything we know from the moon to the rain. Nothing can define that special feeling of falling in love, and it is probably the only fall we never want to recover from in our life.     What is Love? Is it the teens holding hands, or just the bride kissing the groom in a well-lit hall? Here and there, everything is love. So, let us traverse through the lifetime of an average human and see where exactly does love happen.     Life starts with birth when a human forms inside the mother's belly. In biology classes, you might have learned that reproduction starts with sex, and ironically, the act is also termed as 'making love'. So, that is the first instance of love which we will pass once again in the circle of life.     A baby born into the world is first hande...

My Thoughts on Life

LIFE      What is Life? This is a question that has befuddled my thoughts through many nights when stars were there and not. I say it is special, simply special .      Think of the events from the beginning and we can see how marvellous the journey has been from a single primordial atom exploding from a point to the ever-expanding universe in which we are thriving in today. It blows my mind to think that we exist, in flesh and bones, with consciousness in a timeline of billions of years.      Interesting, Isn't it? To think about the way we reached here and the process through which the journey has reached here as it is now? Fascinating. Now, let us return to the question raised in the beginning. What is Life? W ell, this question depends on the person you are asking it to, in general.     An engineer would say life is about inventing new things and making our lifestyle easier on the earth. A doctor would get absorbed with the im...

Soul to my existence

I searched for my destiny within the confusing dreadlocks of time. Is it a six-figure salary, or a mansion by the tide, or was it all the riches in world right under my feet? In a true quest to find the purpose of my life, I stumbled upon things that I paid no heed before. Hunger that dwelled within a stomach that was not mine, a piece of bread would have sufficed for a family of five! Racism that killed a man who I never knew in my life, for he was simply born human but in a colour that some defied! Religion that diverted the masses from realising the truth, and the lack of logic leading to profound lies! Lack of feminism that troubled both men and women in the streets, equal rights were a myth to save some old tradition! Humanity lost in the race for power and money, going back to the woods would have been a better journey! I realized I was blind to all of it so far; cause it never bothered me, or anyone I was related to; in one way or other! I found the purpose of my life is not a l...

The Tale of the Lost Path

Along the bays of fine white sand tread a meadow, like a valley within an island, a secluded heart! Amidst all the green pastures of land roughly tilled, stood a human nest built with my own hands. Once I had tread through the maze-like forest to find the wildest of flowers, rarest of the rarest; Acres of land I had covered in the quest for a pure soul; before ending up in a swamp of runners. Tangled within a vine of lies, I saw a heart that beats devoid of sins; any of the seven! At the center of the epitome of a hurricane's eyes, she stood prime; like a damsel of heaven. Was it the grey matter in my head or the pumping heart? I was confused as to what; That which made me dig from the swamp, with her roots intact; and to pace back home, quick to act! It was always a sight to see the way it stood apart, In color, in beauty, and more! It was always a delight to watch the way it bloomed alone, In heart, in the soul, and more! It was always a bliss to witness, as long as it lasted w...

Concept of God - Part Three

Before reading ahead, it will be good to know that this article is my understanding and a possible theory of the evolution and existence of God in our world. God or No God?      In a constant debate about the existence of God and vice versa, we have still not reached a point agreed by both the Theists and Atheists. While the bunch of Atheists is rooting for humans; existing in flesh and blood, their counter-parts, Theists are fighting for an imaginary entity, their own religion, caste, etc.     So, let us discuss whether God is needed or not? If yes or no, then how should each situation be handled?      First, let us take into consideration the existence of God. What is the problem in having faith to believe in, or a model to look up to?      If you ask me, it is okay and good to some point until it stays within your heart and thoughts. The moment it becomes a tool to hate another person, the belief becomes the same thing it swore t...

Concept of God - Part Two

Before reading ahead, it will be good to know that this article is my understanding and a possible theory of the evolution and existence of God in our world. Creation of God      God . A part of us but yet, what is said to have created the entire world. The concepts of God may differ from each person but in the end, the faith points simply to one point - a blind belief. Before we jump into the concepts of the creation of God, we should discuss the questions any theist might ask. Why not God?     This is a common question I always face in my talks. Why not God? He doesn't harm you.  He protects you . Then why not follow him. You can see the contradictions to the belief in that question itself. Let me explain. The phrase "He doesn't harm you. He protects you" shows that whatever good thing that may happen in my life shall be attributed to God. Meanwhile, whatever bad experiences that I encounter  in my life  are just trials or lessons for me.  ...

Concept of God - Part One

Before reading ahead, it will be good to know that this article is my understanding and a possible theory of the evolution and existence of God in our world. Creation of the world.     Man created God and to understand the concept of God, we have to start from the creation of humans and the world we thrive in. In that case, the creation of Earth will be the first part of the article.     Starting from the nebula explosion and the Big Bang theory, our Earth formed as a giant piece of mass floating in the orbit around the Sun. The Earth is considered to be 4.5 billion years old going through many phases to reach where we are right now. As the saying 'Rome was not built in a day', the Earth was also not an overnight success.      By Woudloper Derivative work: Hardwigg - File:Geologic_clock.jpg , Public Domain, Link     Scientists, with actual logical and statistical studies, have proved that Earth h...
