Before reading ahead, it will be good to know that this article is my understanding and a possible theory of the evolution and existence of God in our world.
God or No God?
In a constant debate about the existence of God and vice versa, we have still not reached a point agreed by both the Theists and Atheists. While the bunch of Atheists is rooting for humans; existing in flesh and blood, their counter-parts, Theists are fighting for an imaginary entity, their own religion, caste, etc.
So, let us discuss whether God is needed or not? If yes or no, then how should each situation be handled?
First, let us take into consideration the existence of God. What is the problem in having faith to believe in, or a model to look up to?
If you ask me, it is okay and good to some point until it stays within your heart and thoughts. The moment it becomes a tool to hate another person, the belief becomes the same thing it swore to destroy.
And, if you think a little more, do you actually need faith like that to survive? Doesn't that show your weakness in believing in your own capabilities? We landed a rover on Mars (Another planet), yet we believe that our future depends on the position of these stars as stated over a wooden plank with some Goti.
Now you might be wondering as to what are the grievances of God. The answer can be explained in one word "Religion", simple as that.
A person taught from the day he/she is capable of understanding words that, he/she should uphold and defend their God against others will be the start of the propaganda.
We all know that we have to turn 18 in order to take part in the election process and determine who rules our country for the next four years. But even before a kid is born, the child is set apart under a particular God even without their permission or will.
If you ask me, I would rather say that like politics, religion should also be accessible only after a person is 18 years of age or above. Then you shall find the number of decrease in people opting for any religion. The concept of God and religion is the same as any other habit. If you don't teach it in childhood, they will never come to know of God.
Hence, what happens when there is no God?. It will be more peaceful. There will be no caste, no religion, etc.
You will not need to set filters to find a life partner and hence reduce the religious hate within people.
No governments or political parties can drive citizens in the name of God and religion. If Ayodhya had been a plain ground, a major political party in India would have diminished to dust.
In the absence of God, doesn't the evil grow? Well, if there is no God then there is no Devil. The Devil and the God are just part of each human being, and Heaven and Hell are our states of mind, not the imaginary theme park that the Church, temple, or mosque offers to take us after our death.
I am not saying that there is no humanity under the reign of God's rule now, but there will be a massive increase in humanitarian considerations if the concept of God is properly understood by the people.
Do we need to uphold our life to an imaginary deity, or the powerhouses that run their stories? You need someone to look up to? Just look up to a person who helps the people in need, that being is God. Look up to the farmers who produce us food daily, they are God. Look up to the soldiers in our borders, their sacrifice is God.
Share your wealth with these people, or be one of them; instead of throwing money into a religious bank. What humans need is love and compassion, selfless acts, and care. It is not the time to sit back and pray, it is the time to do. Long Live the World
